"You Can Still be Convicted of DUI, Even When Not High" Says Ariano

Christopher Ariano says that a person can get convicted of DUI in Arizona even when they are not high.

In a blog on his website, which turned out to be very surprising for a large number of people, Christopher Ariano, an experienced DUI attorney from Arizona mentioned that on can still be convicted of DUI even when a person is not high.

Mr. Christopher Ariano, who frequently keeps posting various helpful posts and articles on his website to raise an awareness among people about the different legal procedures and regulation in the State of Ariano, wrote an article a couple of days ago. In his article, Mr. Ariano explained how a person can get convicted of Driving Under Influence (DUI) and the usage of marijuana, even when the person is not high.

In his blog, Christopher Ariano gave the reference of the proposition 203 from 2010, which allowed the residents of the Arizona with limited medical and health problems, to use marijuana for their treatment. Mr. Ariano also expressed his view that despite the fact that the legalization was opposed back in 2010 where people argued that it was the first step towards the complete legalization, the use of marijuana could be legalized by 2016.

The revelation about the possible marijuana legalization by the 2016 has been welcomed by a lot of different activists for the legalization of the marijuana, who support the legalization of the marijuana; and consider it a basic right of the humans to have access to the marijuana. The legalization of the marijuana in Arizona, if happens, would be welcomed by many people as they believe that many harmful substances are legal, whereas, marijuana is comparatively less harmful, and comes with a number of positive effects on the health as well.

While explaining how a person can be convicted of DUI despite not being high, Mr. Ariano stated that the convictions can be made on the presumption that the person was high; and on the fact that the officer had legal grounds to consider the person impaired.

Finding traces of metabolite, a compound found in marijuana, in the bloodstream can also lead a person being convicted of a DUI. It is important to note here that metabolite continues to exist in the human blood stream even days after the use of marijuana.
