Unspoken Smiles Foundation is Participating in the Biggest, Most Innovative #GivingTuesday Campaign and CrowdRise Holiday Challenge to Raise Funds for low-income children suffering from untreated tooth decay around the world.
New York, NEW YORK, December 1, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Unspoken Smiles Foundation announced earlier that it will join CrowdRise, the largest crowdfunding platform for good, to participate in the CrowdRise Giving Tower Holiday Challenge, its #GivingTuesday campaign, on Dec. 1, 2015. Unspoken Smiles Foundation is committed to education and support of oral hygiene. The pilot program began in 2014 and was inspired by the immeasurable loss to Haiti following the earthquake in 2010. Stressing the education of oral hygiene is critical in building healthy communities and Unspoken Similes has worked to promote sustainable development in health and education. Collaborations with Italy and Romania have been recently launched and many more in the upcoming months.
The CrowdRise Giving Tower is a virtual tower made up of bricks, each of which represents a donation made to charity on #GivingTuesday, and it’s CrowdRise’s way of giving thousands of charities a prebuilt, zero-cost, innovative and engaging campaign to raise lots of money on #GivingTuesday. As donations are made, donors, organizations and consumers can watch the tower grow brick by brick via a free virtual reality (VR) app available in the iTunes store and Google Play.

Last year, the CrowdRise Giving Tower grew to a whopping 2,514 feet—just 208 feet shorter than the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world. This year, organizers say they want to build it to the moon. The charity that raises the most in the CrowdRise Giving Tower on #GivingTuesday, Dec. 1, from 12 a.m. ET through 11:59:59 p.m. ET will get an additional $25,000 donation to their cause.
