The World of the Tree Shaped Garden Planter
Mississauga, Canada, August 12, 2015 (Newswire.com) - A new invention and a very rare and upright planter that looks like a natural Ash Tree. The planter is a unique and artistic planter hand made out of settable material, which is a hollow thin walled artificial tree shaped upright garden planter which looks exactly like a natural tree trunk with its outer surface looking like natural tree bark. Its entire length is hollow and has several woodpecker like holes on all of its side walls at regular intervals. This planter is a 7 foot tall free standing planter fitted on the ground to resemble a tree trunk or a tree stump. The planter can fit to patio, deck or fencing poles, apartment balcony or any place where normally would not be a bed of plants. The hollow in the planter is filled with potting soil used to grow plants, and herbs. Flowering plants, vegetables and herbs can be planted in the planting medium in the hollow of the planter by inserting them through the woodpecker like holes provided on the side walls. The plants growing through the sides of this planter are irrigated by a soaker or drip tube encased in the center hollow of the planter fed from a garden hose pipe or fitted to the garden sprinkler system or timer. Any excess water will drain through a hole provided at the bottom of the planter. 22 plants can be grown in this 7 foot tall planter. Planter can be used to plant flowering plants, vegetables, herbs or any plant of customer's choice in this Planter. The stems and branches either hang down or grow upright depending on the type of plant is chosen and give a very beautiful appearance and appearing as if the plants are growing out of a tree trunk.
The plants grown in the planter can be provided with fertilizer by manually pouring water mixed with the fertilizer into the planter from the opening at the top.
The planters are hand made, out of man made materials which are long lasting requiring very little or no maintenance effort or cost due to the type of construction material used in its making. These planters are made of low weight but rock hard casting material.
This planter is weatherproof. In winter the planter does not need to be removed and stored indoors for its protection. It can be left standing in the garden to look like a beautiful snow covered tree stump in the garden. But for needs to be covered from the top to prevent rain water from collecting and freezing inside and causing cracks.
