Sitecore Wins 2014 Microsoft Alliance ISV Partner of the Year Award

Sitecore®, the global leader in customer experience management, has announced it has won the 2014 Microsoft Alliance Independent Software Vendor (ISV) Partner of the Year Award.

For the second consecutive year, Microsoft recognised Sitecore as one of the top global partners for achieving exceptional sales results, supporting key Microsoft products including Azure, Microsoft Dynamics AX and Windows 8, and continuing its commitment to Microsoft’s .NET development platform. Sitecore was also named Microsoft US West Region ISV of the Year, Microsoft US East Region ISV of the Year and Microsoft US Central Region ISV of the Year. The awards were presented at the 2014 Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference, taking place July 13–17, 2014, in Washington, D.C.

The distinction honours top Microsoft partners for demonstrating excellence in innovation and implementation of customer solutions based on Microsoft technology. Sitecore’s win reflects the company’s deep engagement across selling, marketing and deploying the Sitecore® Experience PlatformTM  to enterprise CMOs and CIOs across the globe. It is a testament to Sitecore’s momentum in the marketplace. Major customer wins over the past year include AGL, GoDaddy and The L'Oréal Group.

“Microsoft’s success as a company depends on great partners, and Sitecore is a shining example of the kind of innovation our partner ecosystem drives year after year,” said Phil Sorgen, corporate vice president, Worldwide Partner Group, Microsoft Corp. “We are honoured to recognise Sitecore as this year’s winner of the 2014 Microsoft Alliance Independent Software Vendor Partner of the Year award, and we applaud Sitecore’s dedication to providing innovative solutions that drive results for our mutual customers.”

“Most companies dream of receiving this type of recognition once, and I am truly humbled for Sitecore to be named a Microsoft Partner of the Year for the second year in a row. This speaks powerfully to the consistency and growing strength of our Microsoft Alliance,” stated Michael Seifert, founder and CEO, Sitecore. “We will continue to build innovative technology that will enable marketers to create engaging customer experiences and win customers for life. That includes building on our strong Microsoft Azure offerings and Microsoft Dynamics AX ecommerce partnership. ”

The recently launched Sitecore® Experience Database™ , a highly scalable big data repository that collects and connects actionable customer data to deliver unique customer experiences in real-time, is made available via Microsoft Azure.

In January, Sitecore announced that it will integrate the Sitecore Experience Platform with the powerful commerce capabilities of Microsoft Dynamics AX, offering customers the first end-to-end, enterprise e-commerce solution based entirely on Microsoft technology. This combined solution will give businesses the ability to design completely connected online experiences optimised for the behaviours, devices and preferences of visitors with complete, real-time, omni-channel order management.
