Ricardo Diaz Announces Candidacy For Region Director Of The Florida Young Democrats

Ricardo Diaz is a Puerto Rican-American entrepreneur and leader in Affordable Home Ownership, Job Creation, Sustainable & Eco-Friendly Building, Voter & Latino Rights and Youth Advocacy.

Ricardo Diaz, 26, announced today his running for Region Director of the Florida Young Democrats via a statement posted to his campaign website http://StartinNew.org - Startin' New - which states;

"Today, I am proud to announce that I am a candidate running for South Central Region Director of the Florida Young Democrats on April 25, 2015 at the annual Florida Young Democrat State Convention being held in Boynton Beach, FL. This election will serve as one of several avenues I am pursuing in efforts to better serve the Central Florida region. I am running for office because I feel that Central Florida represents an immensely powerful voice in America. Specifically speaking, I feel that the youth in Central Florida represent a distinctively passionate, robust and zealous voice that is very under represented and often cast aside as a tumultuous rumble rather than being respected as the studious and prominent voice it could be, with some solid leadership. I am here to be a part of that leadership team and contribute to giving my peers the voice, platform and administrative direction they deserve."

Diaz continues to discuss his track record in the Central Florida region.

"I am small business owner in the Central Florida area — not a career politician. My values and ideals for a better economy and lifestyle for all has been the continuous mantra that has driven me to accomplish my goals in the space. I have earned my stripes in the community without the badge of politics displayed on my sleeve. Rather, I've rolled my sleeves up and made a palpable difference by co-developing an innovative company ( Rapid Home Solutions, Inc. - http://RapidHomes.org ) that is scheduled to create approximately 1,000 Central Florida jobs, over the next several years, with many of the first hired being veterans. My efforts have also assisted approximately 550 Central Florida residents along the path to home ownership as first time home buyers within their previous 10 months. My performance in Central Florida is proving to be tried-and-true. Simply put, I activate a 'get things done' mindset in all that I do. I plan to apply that disposition in a political capacity that will allow me to service even more Central Florida citizens, on a much larger scale."

Elections are being held on April 25, 2015 at the annual Florida Young Democrat State Convention being held at Courtyard by Marriott Boynton Beach in Boynton Beach, Florida 33426.

The Startin' New website will serve as both a political campaign site for Diaz and a political youth movement engaging Central Florida youth in taking an active role in their right to vote.
