Problems in US Society at Pandemic Levels. Don't Expect them to Dry up and Blow Away

We've Buried our Heads in the Sand far to Long. Unending Debates have Proven Ineffective. Our Leaders disagree on 'What to Do', but not that Something Must be done. We Must Act Quickly. The Future of our Children is at Stake.

Langston’s latest book, “The Wages of Sin,” not only outlines the top nine problems plaguing the US, but gives a brief history of their evolution. He validates the magnitude of each problem and their effect on society (economically, morally and socially) with corresponding statistical data.

Applying concise problem solving methodology to these nine problems, (core issues that have stumped the greatest minds), Status Quo, Destabilizing Moment, Questions, Consequences and Solution he successfully exposes the very root and complexities now gripping our nation.

"The war on drugs is now 30, 40 years old. There have been a lot of unintended consequences. There's been a decimation of certain communities, in particular communities of color."

Eric Holder, Attorney General

In chapter 1 Langston delves into the nations unprecedented drug problem, with an unbiased analysis of both illegal and prescription drugs.

In chapter 2 the hideous sin of pornography is dealt with.

In chapter 3, he takes a look into the world of homosexuality and it’s many vices.

Chapter 4 explores the world of gangs, their history, their rise to prominence and the vast tentacles that have grown from this beast.

In chapter 5 he does an in-depth analysis into the elusive and ever growing corruption of the political world. But he also gives precise plans as to how our nation can be healed. We catch our breath

in chapter 6 to expose the hidden dangers embedded within the little known subject of Sharia Law.

In chapter 7 a frank and enlightening study is presented to reiterates to the social drinker and the alcoholic the addictive powers of alcohol.

Chapter 8 finds he immerses the reader in the thick of two music genres sweeping the world, Rap and Hip Hop music. Sadly, as the author points out, from this lifestyle has spawned many of the problems in society of drugs, gangs and teenage suicides.

Chapter 9 closes out his book with the deep, dark and frightening sin of incest. Out of sight, out of mind seems to be the motto. Yet, the victims of this pervasive lifestyle would wholeheartedly disagree. Theirs is a story that needs to be told!

Our once mighty nation now staggers and stumbles, almost in a drunken stupor. Crowds watch in awe and shock as she indiscriminately extends her hands to the world with prose of, “Brother can you spare a dime.”

Even the wisdom of King Solomon would be taxed to solve the plethora of problems now besetting America. Problems and issues, I might add, that are becoming more rampant and pandemic each day.

What US Leaders are Saying about Issues

“The drug war is a perfect continuing example of why we will never win the war on terrorism because it captures the ineffectiveness of U.S. government and it captures the fact that it’s being used against poor people and not against the people who benefit most from drugs, which are bankers that launder the money.” —Robert Steele, CIA Clandestine Officer

“The war on drugs is now 30, 40 years old. There have been a lot of unintended consequences. There’s been a decimation of certain communities, in particular communities of color.” —Attorney General Eric Holder

“I had hesitated on gay marriage, in part, because I thought civil unions would be sufficient. I was sensitive to the fact that -- for a lot of people -- that the word marriage is something that provokes very powerful traditions and religious beliefs.” —President Barack Obama

“I don’t think homosexual people should do adoption. They should be banned by adoption. You’re going to confuse those kids. They should be banned… You shouldn’t affect the young people. How terrible. … They’re going to be confused. You see two men go into a bedroom. You see two women kissing. Is that not confusing? It’s confusing,” —Councilman Elisa Chan, San Antonio, Texas

“In cities like Detroit and Salinas, we’re helping communities set up youth prevention and intervention programs that steer young people away from a life of gang violence, and towards the safety and promise of a classroom. But even though we’ve taken these actions, they’re not enough. Other steps to reduce violence have been met with opposition in Congress, And I, like most Americans, believe that the Second Amendment guarantees an individual the right to bear arms. I believe the majority of gun owners would agree that we should do everything possible to prevent criminals and fugitives from purchasing weapons. These steps shouldn’t be controversial.” —President Barack Obama

“I believe Shariah is a mortal threat to the survival of freedom in the United States and in the world as we know it. I think it’s that straightforward and that real.” —Speaker of the US House of Representatives, Newt Gingrich
