Plinga Instate Lars Smidt and Henning Bublies as the New Managing Directors

The management of the Berlin-based start-up and Rocket Internet venture has changed, with Lars Smidt taking over as CEO in March. The new CEO previously worked for more than two years as Head of Marketing at Aeria Games & Entertainment, and has many years of experience in the gaming industry, especially in marketing and partnerships. Upon taking up his new role, Lars Smidt said: “Plinga is a leading social games publisher and can draw on a network of more than 2,500 partners. Smidt will be supported in his position by the Plinga stalwart Henning Bublies, who was made COO. Through his experience as Product Manager, Head of End User Monetization and recently Director of Product Management & Marketing, he has gained a great understanding of the company and its operations.
