Moti Tal appointed Managing Director of GameGenetics

User acquisition specialist GameGenetics appoints Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Moti Tal to Managing Director and gets new investment to make research & development a top priority.

GameGenetics, leading specialist in user acquisition for free-to-play mobile and online games, announced today that Moti Tal has been appointed Managing Director, joining CEO Jeffry van Ede in this position. Tal has worked for GameGenetics as CTO since September 2014.

The appointment of Moti Tal as Managing Director is part of GameGenetics’ long-term strategy to make in-house technology development a top priority and, using the company’s technological edge, cement its position as leaders in data-driven user acquisition.

To accomplish this, GameGenetics received a fresh seven-digit investment by Target Partners, High-Tech Gründerfonds and a private investor to massively enlarge its R&D department.

In his function as CTO at GameGenetics, Moti Tal is responsible for the R&D and Product teams. “I am grateful for the team’s trust in me, and I’m looking forward to making the development of state-of-the-art technology central to the company’s strategy”, Moti Tal comments.

“We noticed that as a result of the digitalization of the advertising space, the advertisers themselves have lost a considerable amount of insight in connecting to their target audience”, Tal explains. “With our proprietary technology we are able to put them in control again. Our solution will provide advertisers with a transparent and in-depth view into the customer acquisition funnel. This enables them not only to acquire new customers with programmatic tools, but also to keep and grow their existing customer base - hence optimizing the life time value. Such integrated management solution across all media channels is not available in the market today. But with our talented and rapidly growing team and the new investment, we will be able to provide this game-changing technology very soon.”

Before joining GameGenetics Moti Tal was CTO & VP R&D at leading mobile SSP Inneractive (Israel) and worked as developer and R&D Manager for multiple tech companies in Israel and the UK. He has over 15 years of experience in product development which included mobile ad exchange platforms, big data solutions, varied of mobile SDK development, real time bidding, video and rich media advertising.

“Advanced technology and a first-class service are key to GameGenetics’ corporate philosophy, and with the appointment of Moti Tal as the company’s second Managing Director, we’ve created the ideal conditions to bring these two facets of our business even closer”, Jeffry van Ede, CEO of GameGenetics, explained. “The new investment, together with the funding from the European Union we received earlier this year, shows us that we are on the verge of writing a new chapter in user acquisition for mobile and online games.”
