LYNX Technik Launches New Composite/Component A/D Converter with Audio Embedding at Broadcast Asia 2015

LYNX Technik AG, provider of modular interfaces announces the launch of a new fully featured conversion card for its Series 5000 solutions. The CMX 5710 HD/SD-SDI Video / Audio A/D Converter and Embedder will be on display at Broadcast Asia, stand 5A6-01.

The Series 5000 CMX 5710 is fully featured solution for audio and video analog to digital conversion. In addition to its conversion functions, it offers frame synchronization and audio embedding.

This module converts analog component and composite signals to serial digital signals with 12 bit, 54 MHz video over sampling. The CMX 5710 also has a built-in frame synchronizer and a 5-line comb filter for signal enhancement in the highest quality broadcast applications. For audio processing, the CMX 5710 converts analog audio to digital audio at 24 bit and selectable full scale range.

As with all Series 5000 modules, full control is offered by the APPolo Control System, including CustomControl, a new APPolo control feature that incorporates an easy to use editor for creating and building customized virtual software control interfaces.
