El Corte Ingles and the British Embassy Hosts Tea Time for Designer Kristin Frazer in Portugal
British Ambassador and department store invites elite group to welcome swimwear designer to Portugal
Lisbon, Portugal, November 5, 2014 (Newswire.com) - A distinguished group of Portuguese bloggers, fashion designers, and political figures welcomed British Virgin Island’s designer, Kristin Frazer, to El Corte Inglés on Tuesday, October 28, 2014. External Relations executive Joao Pereira De Faria and British Ambassador to Portugal, Kirtsy Hayes, hosted the private event.
As a continued effort to promotes the “Britain is GREAT” campaign, El Corte Inglés and the British Embassy held a private tea time equipped with scones and traditional Portuguese desserts, such as pasties de nata, in honor of the emerging designer. During the event, Frazer discussed her line, Trèfle, and introduced the prints for her 2015 collection, Atacama. In addition, she conducted a Q&A section where guests asked everything from design inspiration to the Beyoncè mention.
