Drill King International Supports Local High-School Talent by Offering a Professional CNC Training Program
Starting this Fall, Drill King International - a leading USA manufacturer of down-the-hole (DTH) drilling equipment, will offer to qualified high-school students the opportunity to participate in a professional CNC training program.
Mansfield, Texas, August 29, 2014 (Newswire.com) - Starting in the Fall of 2014, Drill King will offer to qualified high school students the unique opportunity to gain invaluable on-the-job skills and experience in Computer-Numerical-Control (CNC) machining/programming.
Upon successful completion of the 1-year CNC Machinist Training Program, Drill King will provide possible employment opportunities for the top-performing graduates. Drill King's participation in this training program reflects our goals of supporting American manufacturing and giving back to the local community.

The Program is organized in partnership with 4 other leading manufacturers in the Mansfield area, the Mansfield Independent School District/Ben Barber Career Technical Academy, the Workforce Solutions for Tarrant County and the Mansfield Economic Development Corporation.
In September 2011, Drill King became ISO 9001:2008 certified for the quality of its manufacturing practices and, thus, is one of the very few US-manufacturers holding this most prestigious recognition for quality in the world today. This certification will allow the students to experience world-class manufacturing practices and policies in their local community.
