Friendly North Las Vegas is set to witness the opening of Craig Ranch Regional Park Amphitheater in October. The outdoor theater will have Yesterday, WAR, Sammy Kershaw, and Paul Rodriguez for opening shows, and will seat a multi-thousand audience.

The series of live performances will receive a head-start with Yesterday – The Beatles Tribute Show on October 9, which is also John Lennon’s birthday. The venue’s inception will be punctuated by Yesterday performing classic hits of the most remembered band. The following day, October 10, will experience another series of exhilarating performances by the jazz-rock-blues band WAR. With an unsettling break of twelve days, Craig Ranch will host a show by the country artist Sammy Kershaw on October 23, who will entice the crowds with his soulful gigs, followed by the witty comedian Paul Rodriguez on October 24, who will mark a memorable end to the opening performances with his unique Latin-American humor.

The shows are scheduled to begin at 8 PM, but guests are welcome once the park opens at 6 PM. The picturesque view of the lake and mountains from the finest seats is available on a first-come-first-serve basis.

North Las Vegas Mayor John Lee sees Craig Ranch Regional Park Amphitheater as “the epicenter of culture for this community”, and envisions the opening shows to “showcase the promised commitment to providing a lively, inviting and safe leisure space”.

Tickets to the opening shows are available at http://craigranch.yapsody.com, and can be purchased offline at Craig Ranch Regional Park Offices 851 W Lone Mt Road, or the Silver Mesa Recreation Center, 4025 N. Allen Lane.
