Mr. Martin brings a wealth of experience to the firm that will allow it to continue providing outstanding legal services to abused beneficiaries throughout the state of California.

For twenty years, Mr. Martin has zealously advocated for clients in jury and bench trials.  Originally a Deputy District Attorney, Mr. Martin has honed his trial skills in various types of civil litigation.  He focuses his practice primarily on trust, will, estate and probate litigation matters, fiduciaries’ breach of duties, and financial elder abuse lawsuits.

Before becoming an attorney, Mr. Martin was a Certified Public Accountant, and held a CPA license from 1991 to 2013, which allows him to bring accounting, financial knowledge and experience to bear in complex trust and will litigation cases.

Mr. Martin has handled hundreds of cases through to resolution, and has experience in jury trials, bench trials, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution (ADR), including mediation. Mr. Martin has experience representing Certified Public Accounts in civil litigation and administrative proceedings, including before the California Board of Accountancy.

When not in trial, Mr. Martin helps clients with estate planning, probate, and trust administration.  Mr. Martin’s experience in law and accounting also makes him a trusted advisor to clients in business entity formation, business transactions and contracts, succession planning, buy/sell agreements, sale of businesses or professional practices, and asset protection matters.

Mr. Martin graduated Pepperdine University School of Law with honors (cum laude) and earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from Illinois Wesleyan University.  He is admitted to the State Bar of California, the Bars of the United States District Court for the Northern, Central and Southern Districts of California. He is a member of the San Bernardino County and Riverside County Bar Association, the Joseph B. Campbell American Inns of Court, and the Estate Planning Council of San Bernardino County.
