2015 Atlanta Mobile Awards Announce the finalists. More than 40 projects are competing for 11 different awards to be given out on Thursday September 3rd at Center Stage.
Atlanta, August 17, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Today the Atlanta Mobile Marketing Organization (AMMO) announced the finalists for the 2015 Atlanta Mobile Awards. This year more than 40 projects are competing for awards in 11 categories. Many categories have returned from year 1 including:
· Best Use of Social Media
· Best Use of Location Based Services
· Best Mobile Startup
· Best Mobile Hardware
· Big ATL – Atlanta Only Award
· Biggest Impact / Public Service
New in 2015 are awards for:
· Best use of Augmented/Virtual Reality
· Best Mobile use for Business to Business
· Best in Gaming / Gamification
· Best Mobile use for Enterprise
The people will have the final say in awarding the “People’s Choice Award” where the public can vote for the campaign they like best at the AMMO Website.
“We are incredibly excited about the quality and depth of the nominee field this year” said Josh Gertz, AMMO’s Director and Co-founder. “We had more than twice as many nominees as year one, including some of the hottest Startups in Atlanta.” This year the awards will be judged by top contributors to the local mobile scene including Tricia Whitlock editor of Hypotamus, Steve Bachmann of the Wireless Technology Forum and Joeseph DiCarlo from CNN Mobile. “We are both thankful for the opportunity to give back to the city we love” said Kyle Rollins Co-founder of AMMO “All we want is to bring recognition to all the great companies who have entered.”
The awards are set to be handed out on Thursday September 3rd at Center Stage. Max Groves from the popular Atlanta podcast Comcastro is set to MC the event and has been interviewing nominees for upcoming podcasts.
