Titled "The Twelve Days of an Aussie Christmas" Dee presents that natures wonderland supplies everything that Swagman will ever need to celebrate the Holiday Season. Christmas beetles cling to the branches of trees as ornaments, fireflies light up the leaves in treetops, moths of brilliant colors decorate the foliage, plus the parade of animal visitors to the billabong... even Blue the dog. There is a veritable feast of animals and birds in Australia just waiting under the Southern Cross for kids to take to heart. Twelve white kangaroos pull Santa's sleigh, Matilda, emu is the only animal to 'run the pants of kangaroo', and koala hanging onto Joey from a branch to celebrate this one very special Silent Night.

Author and illustrator of the children's book, Dominique Daniels, had this to say about the series. Dominique Daniels has created a series of eighteen Australiana children's stories to be published by Rolling Seas in 2012. The first of the books "RooDooLoo" was published in October 2011, followed by the release of the children's Christmas story "The 12 Days of an Aussie Christmas" last week. Why not an Australian movie production from Sony or DreamWorks to equal "Open Season" and "Madagascar". The characters are surely begging to be cast.
