ZRT Laboratory will host The Functional Medicine Approach to Hormone Balance at the historic Millennium Knickerbocker Hotel, April 29-30, 2011. Participants, including physicians, pharmacists, and nurses, will attend this annual 2-day accredited Continuing Education course.

The mission of ZRT's CME-accredited Educational Conferences is to provide continuing education which will improve, promote and enhance clinicians' competence and performance as well as patient outcomes. ZRT features world-class experts presenting evidence based science focused on prevention, diagnosis and management within a broad range of health and wellness topics inside hormone replacement therapy, anti-aging and functional medicine. This year's conference will feature such renowned speakers as Lena Edwards, MD; David Zava, PhD; Jennifer Landa, MD; and Bob Wood, RPh.

The conference program is designed to provide practitioners insight into the assessment and management of symptoms commonly associated with hormone imbalances in men and women. Demonstrated primarily in case study format, discussions will include treatment options for various issues associated with hormone imbalance, including physiology, hormone restoration, pharmacologic approaches, nutritional influences, and lifestyle factors affecting outcomes.
