Young Professional In Pennsylvania Serves As Stevie Awards Judge For Five Straight Years

WILKES-BARRE, Penn. , April 3, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Many young professionals are so focused on their careers that they forget to give back to their peers and their communities—sometimes for many years while they work their way up the proverbial ladder. Others, however, take the time out of their busy schedules to volunteer various services to organizations. Shane Lewis is one example of the latter—the successful Vice President of Sales has taken numerous opportunities to serve both the business community and local communities in Pennsylvania.
Mr. Lewis has stated[1] that his primary beliefs for his professional and personal life include sacrifice, dedication, hard work, and “knowing that you get back what you give.” This is one of the reasons that he served as National Charity Director for Sundance Vacations and organized charitable giving events for many organizations.
In addition to local humanitarian projects, Mr. Lewis served as a judge for the national Stevie Awards in sales. These awards are distributed to various professionals working in different aspects of business and they receive thousands of nominations every year. Judges spend a significant amount of time evaluating these numerous applications and selecting the professionals they believe were the most deserving of such recognition.
Some of the judges selected in prior years to decide Stevie Award recipients in sales include chief executive officers, chief sales officers, national account managers, vice presidents of sales, marketing, eSales, directors of business development, and more for some of the leading corporations in the United States including AT&T, Adobe, DHL, and more. Shane Lewis's inclusion in such company demonstrates his commitment to excellence on a professional level, while his willingness to assist with judging shows his dedication to serving his fellow business community on a more personal level.
