Ylang Ylang Beach Resort Offers Organic Wellness Journey at Spa Ylang Ylang
Montezuma, Costa Rica, November 26, 2014 (Newswire.com) - Ylang Ylang Beach Resort introduces Spa Ylang Ylang, a newly improved onsite spa that uses natural ingredients from Costa Rica to help visitors partake in the “wellness journey” — an experience that focuses on revitalization, restoration, and balance of the mind and body.
Known as the “flower of flowers,” Ylang Ylang (Cananga Odorata), a tropical, aromatic flower for which the beach resort and spa were named, is one of several main ingredients used in treatments that help regulate hair growth and adrenaline flow, check rapid breathing, slow the heartbeat, and balance skin conditions. Other organic ingredients used include spring water, tropical essential oils, and fresh tropical fruits.
Spa Ylang Ylang offers Costa Rica resort packages and a variety of treatments including facials, body polishes, corporal massages, therapeutic massages, classic massages, and Final Touches — 10-minute massages than can be added on to other treatments. Prices range between $50 and $200, depending on the treatment and package; special discounts are also available.

About Ylang Ylang Beach Resort
Ylang Ylang Beach Resort, a Costa Rica resort in Montezuma, began with beachfront residents Lenny and Patricia Iacono, who initially opened El Sano Banano (The Healthy Banana), the first natural foods restaurant in Costa Rica that served breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and displayed movies every night. As its popularity grew, they decided to open El Sano Banano Beach Hotel; but in 2005, they changed its name to Ylang Ylang Beach Resort, which is named after the Ylang Ylang flower that grows abundantly in that area. From the Iaconos’ home, a restaurant was later opened which gave visitors a closer option for dining.
