SAN DIEGO, October 16, 2017 (Newswire.com) - Today, XY | The Findables Company announced the Nov. 1, 2017 release date of the XY4+, the latest iteration in their popular line of Bluetooth item finders powered by the free XY Find It app. The XY4+ will be louder, more powerful, and longer lasting than its predecessors or competitors. The XY4+’s hardware has been completely redesigned to take advantage of advances in Bluetooth technology. The new chipset is Bluetooth 5.0 compatible, with a new onboard Bluetooth amplifier which gives the device a range of up to 300 feet, almost double the range of most competing devices. The onboard piezo can ring at up to twice the volume of its competitors, with user-controlled ring-tones and volume settings. The new design gives the XY4+ a replaceable battery with a life of up to five years, increasing the versatility of its consumer and enterprise-level applications. Users can choose from eight stylish colors, including new pink and yellow options.

The XY4+ will be manufactured by SMK in Tijuana, Mexico, just 30 miles away from XY’s headquarters in San Diego. It uses a chipset from Dialog, including an integrated front-end module for Bluetooth applications from Skyworks Solutions. SMK is also the manufacturer of the XY GPS, a hybrid Bluetooth/cellular/GPS finder with an onboard SIM card that allows for finding outside of Bluetooth range. Product firmware and the XY Find It app are developed internally in San Diego.
Mr. Trouw will demo the XY4+ during a live interactive company update via Facebook Live on Thursday, Oct. 19 at 1:00 p.m. Eastern/10:00 a.m. Pacific.
