Xelleon PLC Receives Apples Approval On Simpozia Live App
Online, February 12, 2012 (Newswire.com) - It all began about three months ago, with Xelleon publishing their iphone / ipad app to Apple Development for approval. The Simpozia Live App was meant only to allow Simpozia users to be able to watch live streaming events while they were on the go, so they didn't have to be tied to their living rooms to experience a concert they paid for.
Well, Apple took their time on the first round, they're obviously a busy company, and when response came back saying the stream wasn't being done to Apples specifications, Xelleon went to work immediately to rework the streams specifically for the iOS devices. Within a week Xelleon had produced a new iOS 5 App to address Apples requirements.
Then they waited again. After 2 more rounds of minor edits and resubmitting their app, Apple finally came back with the clearance and the Simpozia Live App was posted to i-tunes.
"This is a great step forward for Xelleon," exclaimed company President Dale Scott Marion. "It offers an upgradable App which is already approved and being downloaded by the general public. This give us the ability to add more features to existing App users and let them update as we move forward with everything else that makes Simpozia so great."
The App currently works along side the MAC and PC Simpozia Store applications. Allowing users to view streaming content they have purchased through their MAC or PC. Much like the Android App, however the Android App also has the ability to browse and listen to music titles as well.
The Simpozia Store is live and online for fans to use and experience and has been for over 6 months, promotion of the Store has been kept to a minimum due to the fact that Xelleon is planning a massive launch, including a kickoff concert, new audio and video titles as well as filling the site with it's live event dates.
Xelleon is being awefully close lipped about who it has lined up for concerts this year, but Simpozia.com shows Neverending White Lights doing a Simpozia Streaming Show in the not to distant Future. Daniel Victor of Neverending White Lights said, "We're using Simpozia because of the impervio security, it allows us to promote new material securely unlike other sites, it offers it's users automatic affiliate commissions to promote and share the music and concerts they buy. We believe in the Simpozia model and Xelleon, in a big way."
For anyone looking to try the App, Xelleon said they would need to download the Simpozia Store application and sign up for a Simpozia Account first, before attempting to utilize the iphone / ipad App.
