Xelleon PLC Moving Forward With Bulzi Development Deal
Online, July 25, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Xelleon PLC (Frankfurt - XLL) (http://www.xelleon.com) - announced today that it is in final negotiations on a $200,000 USD, phase 1, development and integration deal with Bulzi Media.
Bulzī Media (http://www.bulzi.com) supplies advanced metrics data services to Out Of Home (OOH) advertising networks which improve media credibility and enables new micro-targeted ad models.
Brent McKay, president of Bulzi said, "The technology we have seen from Xelleon is unlike anything we've ever seen before. We are confident that using Xelleon technology to secure the data received from our mobile and point of purchase partners will result in the most secure data environment possible"
Xelleon, has board members and software developers on staff with over 20 years experience. Their expertise in the area of data file security and encryption will be vital to the Bulzi Media system.
When asked why he felt it was so important that the data being ingested by Bulzi be of at such a high level of security, Dale Scott Marion, President of Xelleon had this to say:
"Everyone, these days, is a target for hacking... especially companies that are housing consumer information. With collateral damage from the hacking of a companies such as Sony, NetFlix, and Microsoft reaching hundreds of millions of dollars, a company such as Bulzi is looking to be extremely cautious with their data, for their companies reputation and for their investors peace of mind."
Brent McKay, president of Bulzi said, "Our top priority is to build a platform that is 100% privacy-safe and protects all consumer data from any unauthorized access. Given the state of computer hacking today, this is a tall order to deliver on. We believe that Impervio is the best in class with respect to data security and delivers the best protection commercially available. Since their technology was certified above military grade by a major test lab, this would suggest that it may, in fact, be one of the best without qualification."
Mr Marion commented by saying, "With Impervios 28 layers of Stealth Grade protection, the data passing throughout the Bulzi system will be completely secure from end to end."
Phase 1 development is expected to begin early in August while negotiations for a 20 year ongoing service agreement are being finalized between the two companies, that are expected to warrant Xelleon a $1.2 Million USD contract.
