Workshop on AME(Aircraft Maintenance Engineering) Course as a Carrier Option

The motive behind the seminar was to make students awake about the Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) course. Dehradun Public School welcomed the team of JRN institute.

JRN Institute of Aviation Technology organized three days' workshop on the Aviation industry in DDPS School, Ghaziabad. The motive behind the seminar was to make students awake about the Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) course. Dehradun Public School welcomed the team of JRN institute. Principal of DDPS School Ms Priya Dhall along with other faculty members and 500 students were also present on the occasion.

Speaking at the seminar, Mr Rakesh Ranjan said, "It's a general perception that when anyone thinks about a career in aviation sector, the first visualization reflects a Pilot or an Airhostess. However, the truth is that apart from Pilots & cabin crews, there are approx. 25 Aircraft Maintenance Engineers and 60 ground staff needed for successful operations of any single aircraft. As this industry is growing rapidly, there is lot of scope for students in this field.

Principal Ms Priya Dhall said while addressing the gathering, "I fell honoured that our school got a chance to be a part of this seminar organized by JRN, through this discussion students can develop their skills, capabilities and remain alive about this programme. This type of seminars helps students to choose the right path for their carrier. AME will prove best course as a career option it guides students to broaden there thinking capability. We will definitely organize these types of constructive seminars in future also in order to evolve reasoning power of students."

The event was organized in two sessions. First session highlighted the importance of AME course as a carrier option. Skills of Hard work in right direction and self-improvement were also explained. Second session was based more on interaction. A lot of queries came forward from students which were successfully delivered by the speakers. Students also expressed their thoughts.
