Woops! Turns All Its Macarons Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness

Woops! will donate to the National Breast Cancer Foundation to help in its fight against breast cancer.

Woops!, the leading U.S. macaron franchise, announced today that they will be transforming all of their macarons pink for the weekend of Oct. 13 to Oct. 15 in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. For each macaron box purchased, Woops! will donate $1 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation to help in its fight against breast cancer. These exclusive pink macarons, in twenty different flavors, will be available at all 35-plus Woops! locations nationwide.

“This disease is one that has hit close to home,” says Woops! Co-founder Tal Avivi, “and we wanted to do something creative, unique, and, most importantly, eye-catching. At Woops! we know the importance of color and what it represents for people. In the case of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, pink represents nurturing, love and, for a lot of people, hope.”

CEO of Woops! Gil Kiryati developed an idea to change all macarons shells pink for breast cancer awareness. Gil's initial response to Breast Cancer Awareness, was how can we make an impact?
