WipeDrive v9.1 Enterprise Receives Common Criteria EAL2+ Certification

WipeDrive Enterprise has received critical Common Criteria EAL2+ certification through rigorous, in-depth testing and analysis, allowing it to be implemented globally by the world's largest companies.

WhiteCanyon Software, the trusted data sanitization tool for corporate and government organizations, today announced that its certified data erasure product has earned Common Criteria Evaluation Assurance Level (EAL) 2+, augmented with ALC_FLR.2 and ASE_TSS.2. This certification by the International Standards Organization means the WipeDrive solution has undergone rigorous testing and review and meets all data security requirements.

Common Criteria is an arrangement by 26 countries in Europe, Australasia, Asia and North America to ensure that evaluations of Information Technology (IT) products and protection profiles are performed to high and consistent standards. Certified products can then be procured by member nations with confidence in the security of those products and profiles. This partnership eliminates the burden of duplicating evaluations of IT products.

We are proud that WipeDrive v9.1 Enterprise has been certified and recognized as the most trusted data eradication tool in the world. Common Criteria EAL2+ ensures our clients that WipeDrive will meet and exceed all internal and external data security requirements on data storage devices.
