Westbury, NY, March 3, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Winters Bros. acquires Long Island operations of Progressive Waste Solutions
Winters Bros. Waste Systems announced today that it has acquired Progressive Waste Solutions’ operations on Long Island. Under terms of the agreement, Winters Bros. has acquired all hauling operations, seven recycling operations and eight transfer stations operations all located in Nassau and Suffolk counties. With the acquired assets, Winters Bros. will serve an additional 20,000 customers and multiple municipalities across Nassau and Suffolk counties. The transaction closed on March 1, 2015.
