Wiley Christian Adult Day Services is a non-profit organization providing for the medical and mental health needs of adults living within Camden, Gloucester and Burlington counties.
"I am excited to be a part of the Wiley Christian Adult Day Services' family," Mrs. McKay said. "I am so impressed by the wide range of services that Wiley offers as well as the genuine compassion the staff shows to the adults and families that they serve. It is my goal to help establish Wiley as a premier medical adult day and behavioral management facility by enhancing outreach efforts, creating community partnerships, and bringing media awareness to the importance of adult day and behavioral management programs."
The two adult day programs offered by Wiley include Wiley Christian Adult Medical Day Services and Wiley Christian Behavioral Management Services. The medical adult day program provides medically-needy adults with licensed skilled nursing, medical supervision, recreational activities, social services/case management, transportation and hot meals and snacks. The behavioral management adult day provides individual counseling, case management, psycho-educational groups, nursing services, addiction services, employment counseling, medication monitoring, pharmaceutical services, hot meals, snacks and transportation. The aim of these day programs is to enable adults with medical needs or behavioral management needs to remain in the community while receiving appropriate care.
"Wiley has an excellent multi-disciplinary team of professional staff, a psychiatrist, psychiatric nurse, case managers and mental health workers." Mrs. McKay said. "The dedication of the staff, level of service, and the joy that I see on the faces of clients as they participate in a variety of activities, engage in camaraderie, or get one-on-one care from the nurses, is something that I believe is "one of a kind". I am proud to represent Wiley as a part of the outreach team."
