"Wide Open Road" Nominated For Independent Music Award

"Wide Open Road," the debut album by country singer Bryan Cole, has been nominated for Best Country Album at the 10th Annual Independent Music Awards.

The nominees for the 10th Annual Independent Music Awards have been officially announced, and "Wide Open Road," the breakout debut album from Bryan Cole has been nominated for Best Country Album! Released in early 2010, the Chuck Ainlay-produced disc has been well-received by fans and critics alike; receiving positive reviews, several award nominations, and airplay chart success. Wide Open Road joins four other nominees in the Best Country Album category, including Codie Prevost (Get Loud) Darrell Scott (A Crooked Road) John McLeod (Moving On) amd Logan Mize (Logan Mize.) "I am truly blown away," says Bryan. "This year has been so full of blessings, and I'm so very happy and humbled to have been nominated for this award."

The Independent Music Awards receive submissions from self-released and independent label artists from more than 70 countries on 6 continents around the world. Nominees and winners are selected by a panel of industry judges including Ozzy Osbourne, Seal, Adam Duritz (Counting Crows) and Shelby Lynne, among others. Past nominees and winners include Jennifer Nettles (Sugarland,) Suzanne Vega, Ike Turner, and Lacuna Coil. Winners for the 10th Annual IMAs will be announced Mid-March.
