Why Cordoba Is a Part of Bavaria: Iberosattel Presents Its Latest Model Còrdoba Classic
Freystadt, Germany, September 22, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Cordoba is the capital of the province of Cordoba in Spain. However, the Cordoba saddle comes from the Upper Palatinate in Bavaria. With this new model, the manufacturer in Bavaria is reacting to the fact that dressage riders are increasingly "acquiring the taste" and becoming interested in a saddle by Iberosattel. The new model was presented at the spoga horse 2015 fair by the team. There was a lot of interest amongst the equestrian fraternity.
"With this we are now offering another alternative with knee rolls underneath," explains Birgit Thoma, Iberosattel’s marketing director. "We also wanted to introduce a saddle with a double flap to our range." The advantage of this is that many riders then find it somewhat easier to adjust their stirrups. As you would expect, this is not yet the last word on the subject of the Cordoba. The first classic models had scarcely been placed on horses when the premium version was already available: with comfort cushioning, SECUSAD system and further "extras" as furnished by Ibero premium saddles.
The Cordoba Classic in keywords
This saddle is noted for greatly freeing up the shoulder – it is therefore also particularly suitable for horses with an extravagant action. It has a soft knee roll layer providing a lot of grip. This means that an odd jump or two can be tackled. The extra deep seat is ideal for dressage work and facilitates the warm up. In addition, the designers have gone for extensive dressage cushioning, which ensures that fine aids are communicated directly to the horse. The Cordoba, like all Ibero saddles, has the Amazona solution. With a weight of 6 kilos, it is quite clearly a lightweight saddle. Currently, the new model, which has German equestrian federation approval, is available in seat sizes 17.5 and 18 from stock. Customers can choose between black or brown leather.
The Cordoba Premium in keywords
The premium version is available in all seat sizes; it is produced to order for the customer. Here Iberosattel is responding to the wishes of dressage riders, who ride in competitions and do not want to do without the wide comfort cushioning. The premium version of the Cordoba is currently being offered at the introductory price of 2,990 instead of 3,190 Euros.
