Which Is The Best Hotel In The Lake District?

Online, August 11, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Nominations have just opened for the 2010 Lake District Hotels Fairy Awards, giving you the chance to reward your favourite Cumbrian hotel and tell the world why you think it is so special.

The competition, run by hotel price comparison website Hotels-Fairy.com will run until 1st October 2010 and aims to showcase the hotels that provide guests with the best holiday experience.

Tom Greenwood, web marketing manager at Hotels-Fairy.com said "Hotels Fairy is the magical price comparison website and the Lake District is one of the most magical destinations in the world. So we decided to start this year's awards with a special category to find the most magical hotel in this beautiful region."

The winners will be selected by a combination of public nominations, public voting and judges decision, with special awards for the best hotels in the popular towns of Windermere, Keswick and Ambleside.

"These awards are not here to flatter the egos of big chain tells but to find out which hotels guests find to truly give them the best experience, whether it be a five-star resort or a 2 star guesthouse", said Greenwood.
