Website Redesign for Acorn Global Advance

Headed by Rick Cross, Acorn uses its website and social media to raise funds for ministries all over the world. Created in 2021, the organization has grown rapidly over the last several months, and has already raised more than $25,000 for ministries in Europe, Africa, and Asia. Acorn does an excellent job of identifying effective ministries and promoting them so that they can get the funds they need to continue operations.
The website is designed using WordPress, specifically the Divi plugin. It follows a consistent color scheme, which was made up of earthy greens, browns, and grays. The fonts, buttons, and pictures all consistently used these colors, adding a degree of congruity and uniformity to the website. A slightly beige, off-white color was also used as the background for the web pages. The softer hue of the off-white takes less of a toll on the eyes than plain white, and also goes along nicely with the earthy color scheme.
The website uses GiveWP to receive donations. GiveWP is extremely easy to use. The forms can be easily customized to fit the look and feel of the website. Additionally, GiveWP has excellent customer service that quickly solves any issues.
