Webalo Recognized in Two Gartner Reports - Hype Cycle for Frontline Worker Technologies, 2019 and Hype Cycle for Manufacturing Operations Strategy, 2019

Webalo form input for mobile devices

Webalo, Inc., the UX Platform for the Frontline Workforce, announced today their recognition as a Connected Worker Sample Vendor in both Gartner’s Hype Cycle for Frontline Worker Technologies, 2019 and in their Hype Cycle for Manufacturing Operations Strategy, 2019 (Gartner subscription required).

In both research notes, Gartner recognizes the benefit rating of the Connected Worker as transformational, and provides the following definition: “Connected workers are capable of using various digital tools and data management techniques to improve and integrate their interactions with both physical and virtual surroundings. They are able to make faster and better decisions that enable and optimize a process or set of processes that they participate in.”

Webalo is a Platform for the Frontline Workforce, providing a broad range of Connected Worker capabilities that support all areas of plant operations and logistics. Webalo integrates Frontline Workers into the day-to-day operational processes to make their jobs easier and the businesses more efficient. Webalo leverages existing investments in enterprise & industrial software systems to enable the Connected Worker by creating a paperless workday for the workforce, providing real-time visibility and clear work instructions on mobile or other Connected Worker devices for all areas of plant and supply chain operations.

“We believe Gartner’s research is strongly aligned with the rapid growth in the Frontline Workforce digital transformation projects we’re engaged within industrial companies around the world,” said Peter Price, Webalo CEO. “Digital Task Management, Supervisor Smart Checklists, Standard Operating Procedures and Instructions, Production Line Change Over Management, Digitized Maintenance Cards, Real Time Notifications of Production Schedules, Downtime Event Review, Mobilized Supply Chain Materials Scanning, Shift Change Over, General Real-Time/Contextualized KPI Metrics and Dashboarding--the range of use cases where Webalo is able to generate substantial value for its customers is extensive.”

As Gartner states in their research notes, “the notion of integrating workers with their physical and virtual surroundings can result in faster execution and less manual processes and data capture methods.” Webalo’s “single-pane-of-glass” - just one app that manages all of the workforce’s interactions in the workday - creates a highly productive workplace environment by connecting all of the existing plant systems into a simple, personalized "cockpit" for each Connected Worker.
