This is the premise of a newly launched website that honors and celebrates the various experiences and relationships that are formed over sharing a cup of coffee. "Over Coffee" invites users from all over the world to share their own coffee stories, learn about other coffee cultures, and ultimately connect with one another ... as we do over coffee.
Share Your Coffee Stories
Signing up is absolutely free and easy, especially with the Facebook Connect feature. The site may be new, but it's already attracting users from the United States, Columbia, Switzerland, Israel, Palestine, and the Philippines. Each user is automatically set up with his/her personal blog, and can choose to submit his/her posts to be featured on the "Coffee Stories" page for all to see. Topics range from running into an old girlfriend in a California local coffee shop, to travelling across Asia with a loved one, to the interesting role of coffee in arranged marriage rituals in some traditional Arab cultures.
