Vows for Vets at Raleigh's Outdoor Wedding Venue, the Rand-Bryan House

Raleigh’s outdoor wedding venue of choice for every type of newlywed has just played host to a celebration of marriage and service to our country. On Nov. 10, active and former military service men and women were offered free marriages and vow renewals at the Rand-Bryan House, located on the outskirts of Raleigh.

The farm wedding venue served as the backdrop for nine special ceremonies from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., all of which included complimentary professional wedding photos and goody bags. The Rand-Bryan House has built a reputation as a fabulous venue for outdoor weddings and farm weddings in the Raleigh area — this annual event is an opportunity to give back to those who support us and so courageously serve our country.

For the second straight year, the event was organized by Katherine Edwards and Stephanie Shaffer. In addition, many Raleigh-area vendors stepped up to provide stellar amenities for the couples. Our proud partners include:

One groom stated, ”Just had our vow renewal here. Absolutely one of the best decisions we made. Everything was perfect. The staff was very kind and professional, the scenery was breathtaking, and the photographer did an amazing job! I want to give an extra thanks for providing the service free to me for their ‘Vows for Vets’ program this Veterans’ Day weekend. I am humbled by this kind of support from them and it’s acts like these that make serving this country so great!”
