Vote For Your Favorite Finalists at Livermore's 2010 Talent Competition via NuAlerts
Online, February 22, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Livermore, CA- February 19, 2010- nuAlerts, a social media marketing tool for local communities, announced today that online voting is open for the fifteen finalists in Livermore's 2010 Talent Competition. Viewers are invited to view online performances of finalists and then vote for their favorite contestants from the comfort of your own home. The final performances will be held at Livermore's Bankhead Theatre on February 28th at 3pm. At that performance, attendees will be able to vote for their favorites using text voting provided by nuAlerts, American Idol style.
Livermore's 2010 Talent Competition consists of young people residing all over the Bay Area and even Palm Springs performing their talents to win prizes from qualified judges. This is the first year that social media, text voting and online voting are being used to award select prizes. Online voting requires three easy steps of signing up for a voter account on nuAlerts, click on the performer you like, select the Vote For Me button and your vote is submitted. You can also receive updates via e-mail or send them to your phone by clicking Get Updates. A box will open where you can "Follow" the performer similar to how you follow people on Twitter. You can also vote and receive updates via text messaging by texting to 41411 the performer's nuAlerts code.
