Visionary Broadband Selects Bonfire Engineering & Construction as Contractor for CARES Broadband Program
E&C firm has signed letter of intent to address COVID-19 impacts on broadband access through CARES funding
CHEYENNE, Wyo., September 9, 2020 (Newswire.com) - Bonfire Engineering & Construction, a leader in end-to-end broadband construction, is pleased to announce that it has entered into an agreement with Visionary Broadband to construct fiber for the ConnectWyoming initiative to improve tele-health, tele-education and tele-work in response to COVID-19 and its impact on Wyoming communities. Bonfire is set to provide engineering, permitting, project management and construction services to increase broadband infrastructure in Wyoming as part of the ConnectWyoming initiative, sponsored by the Wyoming Business Council and the office of Governor Mark Gordon.

CARES funding will be utilized by Visionary Broadband to solve broadband deficiencies through 14 fiber and wireless projects across Wyoming, with a completion date of Dec. 30, 2020.
Bonfire recently completed fiber projects in Laramie, Wyoming, and Torrington, Wyoming, for Visionary.
