According to Dr. John Paul Hearn, Superintendent of Jenkins County School System, "As a rural district, we are now able to offer our students a wide range of courses, such as 30+ Advanced Placement courses and over 50 Career and Technology-related classes. We are also going to be able to bring this option to rural and all students across the state.”
The recent update to Georgia's open enrollment law paves the way for school districts to establish statewide virtual programs, empowering learners to access an education that transcends geographical boundaries.
