Village Child Has Arrived

No longer "Waiting on Superman". . . Village Child takes on the achievement gap, high shcoool graduation rate, and steps to rebuild broken communities!

No longer are we . . ."Waiting on Superman"! In an ongoing quest of building safety nets, to build brighter futures for the youth, Village Child is announcing the launch of its pilot program.

Village Child was established on a volunteer basis 3 years ago, to provide solutions for youth and their caregivers who lack a "Village" support system. Our focus is to aide youth (10-18) and their immediate caregivers in finding their voices within the proverbial village. Predicated on seven core principles; purpose, unity, faith, self-determination, economics, collective work, and creativity. Our youth will walk away with the tools for success within a global community!

With the perils of this world, we understand that no longer can we sit back while our youth graduate at record low rates. No longer can we speak on the suspension rate, without putting ourselves in a position to do something about it! No longer will we depend upon others to solve our solutions. Together we can all make a stand by being true to the proverb "It takes a Village to Raise a Child"! You ask what is next. . . . get involved, tutor a Village Child youth, invite Village Child to your organization to volunteer, and don't hesitate to make a monetary donation to our program today!
