With a PICC line placed in her arm, and later a CVL placed in her chest, she was put at risk by so many things – including her own playful nature. With a little “mom-genuity,” the original prototypes of our sleeves and wraps were created to keep Saoirse from pulling, catching, tearing and contaminating her lines. When we saw how much it improved both her life and ours, we knew that we wanted others to experience the same comfort.
We created CareAline® Products to do just this – make sure every patient with an implanted line can be as comfortable as possible. To do this, we need to make our sleeves for PICC lines and wraps for CVLs the standard of care in all hospitals and facilities, here in the US and around the world. We are on our way, but we need your help to make sure that no patient has to suffer discomfort and stress while going through any kind of treatment.
Every dollar you donate to our indigogo campaign goes directly towards reaching our goal of making CareAline® Sleeves and Wraps available worldwide! We have secured distribution of our products in three countries – The US, Canada, and Australia. We want to add more. Because we are a medical device, we have to register for medical compliance in each country, and find representation to sponsor our company and distribute our products.
Our final priority is to attend conferences and exhibit our products to nurses and patients from around the world. Every nurse that sees our products leads to more patients benefiting from their use. Every patient that can learn about how our products can help them will benefit from improved quality of life. Going out and meeting nurses and patients, and sharing our story and our products are the best way for us to help more people. Approximately 150 million catheters are placed each year – that’s a lot of people to help, and we strive to reach them all.

At CareAline® Products, our first priority is always the patient. Prolonged treatment causes stress on the patient, his caregivers, family and friends. Often times, everyday comfort is forgone for the necessity of treatment and the goal of getting better. We know first hand how important it is to find ways to reduce as much stress as possible during the healing process, and that comfort can make a huge difference in a patient’s ability to manage day-to-day treatment.
We have taken the steps necessary to make our products ready to enter the hands of hospitals, nurses and ultimately patients worldwide. We are an FDA registered class one exempt product in the US. We have applied for our US patent, and patents in other countries and territories throughout the world. Most importantly, we have listened to patients who have used our products and shared their experiences with us, and have made adjustments to our designs in order to improve their usefulness and quality – striving to help as many people as we can.
CareAline® Products is a small, family company, working to enter the big world of medical supplies.
