Vail Gay Ski Week will be auctioning over $15k worth of donated items for fundraiser

VAIL, CO. January 22, 2010- The organizers for Vail Gay Ski Week 2010 released today a list of the items available for bidding at the Vail Gay Ski Week Silent Auction, which is a fundraiser to benefit the GLBT Community Center of Colorado. Items to be auctioned include a vacation to Valbruna, Italy; Vail season passes for the 2010-2011 season; gift certificates to local stores; a GolfLogix GPS; free Vail Mountain coffee for a year; and more.
"We would like to extend a humble thank you to all who have donated to our cause and helping us to build a strong foundation for a successful event this year, and for many years to come!" stated founder of Hoffman Outreach, Tommy Z. Hoffman. "Everyone is invited to participate in the Silent Auction; including Vail Gay Ski Week guests, the community, as well as interested organizations," said Cali Adkisson, Vail Gay Ski Week Event Coordinator and organizer of the event's auction.
Final bids must be submitted before the auction is closed on Saturday at 10 pm. The auction items will be available for viewing and bidding during these times:
• Wednesday, January 27, 2010 from 5-9pm, the lower level lobby of the Vail Plaza Hotel
• Thursday, January 28, 2010, 8am-8pm, the lower level lobby of the Vail Plaza Hotel
• Friday, January 29, 2010, 8am- 6pm the lower level lobby of the Vail Plaza Hotel
• Friday, January 29, 2010, 6am- 8pm, Galileo Restaurant, Vail Plaza Hotel
• Saturday, January 30, 8am-10pm, the lower level lobby of the Vail Plaza Hotel
Proceeds from the Silent Auction will go towards reaching a goal of raising $10,000 for the GLBT Community Center of Colorado. Parties interested in bidding may obtain a Bid ID from Base Camp.
