Userlane Selected by Microsoft as One of the Top Ten European Companies to Tackle Digitization

Munich-based startup explores co-selling options and access to international partner network opportunities with Microsoft

Userlane, the company known for their navigation system for software, was selected by Microsoft as one of ten European Companies they believe provide disruptive technologies and AI solutions that help enterprises tackle complex digital challenges.

Microsoft will work with the Munich-based software company on its growth strategy with the help of co-selling as well as access to Microsoft’s international sales and partner network.

The cooperation with Microsoft occurs within the scope of the Microsoft ScaleUp program which aims to promote technological progress and entrepreneurship leading to digitization for all.

“Working closely together with Microsoft allows us to further expand our footprint in the enterprise market. With a deeper integration into Microsoft's product portfolio, we can help Microsoft’s clients increase the adoption of services such as Sharepoint, Dynamics, and Office 365 throughout their organizations while automating employee training and assistance processes,” mentioned Hartmut Hahn, CEO and co-founder.

Felix Eichler, CTO and co-founder stated, “Microsoft’s Azure infrastructure enables us to provide our global customer base with enterprise-grade service without making compromises on our high privacy and security standards. We are growing fast in the US and in Asia, therefore, Microsoft is the perfect partner to help us scale internationally.”

“The main difficulty linked to change is not project management. The challenge is overcoming all the insecurities that come along with being a pioneer. It certainly helps if a true innovator like Microsoft steps forward and confidently points others in the right direction. And we’re excited to be among the companies that Microsoft refers others to when it comes to innovation and change.” – explained Kajetan Uhlig, CPO and co-founder.

Userlane’s technology, defined as ‘interactive performance support,’ allows anybody to operate any software application without previous knowledge.

Being fully operative from day one in any software application results in higher productivity and higher software adoption. Userlane gives companies the ability to quickly roll out new software without additional training costs, logistical issues, or resistance to change, thus facilitating the path to digitization.

This resonates well with Microsoft’s commitment to the advancement and promotion of innovative technologies and that’s why a jury of Executives and Venture Capitalists selected Userlane as one of the top ten European later-stage startups that tackle the challenges of digital transformation.
