The Verse's keyboard slides out from the bottom - a different design from the normal landscape style keyboard. The keyboard is a little squished, as it's contained on a smaller surface area than the landscape keyboards. The keys are very responsive, however, and it's easy to type out your message or email in seconds. Because the Verse screen is not a touchscreen, there's a number of shortcut buttons along the side of the phone to make it easier to get things done.
