UPW Asia 2012 Accepting Abstracts for Singapore Conference
UPW Asia 2012 is accepting abstracts for the 2-day conference to be co-located at Singapore International Water Week July 4-5. The session will focus on high-purity water used in the semiconductor, pharmaceutical, and power generation industries.
Online, February 13, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Abstracts for technical papers are being accepted for the upcoming ULTRAPURE WATER Asia 2012 (UPW Asia 2012) conference that will be conducted July 4-5 at the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. The conference will focus on high-purity water treatment in the semiconductor, pharmaceutical/biotech, and power generation industries.
UPW Asia 2012 will be co-located at Singapore International Water Week (SIWW), which will be conducted July 1-5. SIWW and UPW Asia will both be conducted at the Marina Bay Sands. Tall Oaks Publishing is sponsoring this conference.
UPW Asia 2012 will feature an opening session on business aspects of the water industry that will be followed by technical papers the afternoon of July 4 and all day July 5 on key issues related to high-purity water treatment. This will be the sixth conference Tall Oaks Publishing has conducted in Singapore. Previous conferences were conducted in 2000, 2002, 2004, 2006, and in 2011.
The emphasis of this conference will be primarily on these high-purity water treatment areas: microelectronics industry (semiconductor, photovoltaic [PV], and nanotechnology), pharmaceuticals/biotechnology, power generation, and general high-purity water. Here are some different topics that will be emphasized: organics, monitoring technology development, system disinfection/sterilization, system validation, materials of construction, microbial control, condensate polishing, cooling system, water reclaim, pretreatment, and new technology developments.
