Upcoming Vietnam Lunar Tet Holiday With Main Cultural Festivals Kicking Off

In Sapa, on the first Dragon Day after the first full moon every year, Giay ethnic people hold Roong Pooc festival to show people's gratitude towards their guardians. It has become a common festival of the region with the participation of Mong and Dao people from nearby villages. The sacred ceremony begins with incense offerings and ends among the harmony of drums, gongs and Pi Le clarinets, followed by traditional games such as con throwing, tug of war game, etc.
