United States and Mexico Leaders Join Forces in San Antonio, Texas.
This event is hosted by Integra Institute and Mexico's National Commission for the Protection and Defense of Financial Services (CONDUSEF)
San Antonio, TX, July 12, 2017 (Newswire.com) - Integra Institute, a San Antonio Based 501(C)3 non-profit organization that focuses on integrating Hispanics into the United States Economy through the development of educational programs, has partnered with Mexico’s National Commission for the Protection and Defense of Financial Services (CONDUSEF). C-Level executives from U.S. Banks, Mexican banks, remittance companies, tax preparation companies, Fin-Tech companies, Hispanic Chambers, U.S. and Mexican Government Officials, and other community leaders, will have a roundtable discussion about the challenges and opportunities of Mexican financial inclusion in both The United States and Mexico.
Almost half of the 50 Million Hispanics living in the United States are financially underserved and have little or no access to traditional banking and financial services. They are forced to rely on alternative high-cost products and services like payday lending entities that are economically unsustainable. Through financial inclusion, we can help Hispanics more easily integrate into the U.S. economy. This roundtable discussion is the first step for key players in the financial industry to collaborate towards a more financially inclusive society for Hispanics in the United States, and their relatives in Mexico. Emilio Espana, Chairman of Integra Institute, sets the example in saying: “We strive to create super citizens that are fully integrated into the U.S. Economy and continue to be connected their home in Mexico.”
