Unified Commerce Hires John Perez as Chief Operating Officer
NASHVILLE, Tenn., May 14, 2018 (Newswire.com) - Unified Commerce, the leader in new B2B payment technologies, has named John Perez as chief operating officer. Perez joins Unified with nearly three decades in financial and corporate B2B experience, having most recently served as a senior vice president of BB&T’s Capital Markets Corporate Banking division since 2012.
At Unified, Perez will execute and align procedures and resources to promote scaling and optimize efficiencies in Unified’s billion-dollar client segment. Before joining BB&T, Perez worked as vice president of government solutions, large corporate banking and international trade services at Fifth Third Bank. Throughout his career, he has been a driver of solutions in capital formation, treasury management, foreign exchange and international trade, as well as opening the European Representative Office in Brussels, Belgium.
Perez graduated from Miami University with a Bachelor of Science in finance. He will be based at Unified’s corporate office in Franklin, Tennessee.
