Two Ports Get Logistics Support from SpartaMatrix Major Infrastructure Project

The Ports of Rijeka and Koper which are on the Adriatic Sea are getting major support from a new SpartaMatrix Gateway Logistics Service Centre

On 6 May 2010, a major logistics project, MLC doo (Croatia), which supports the Ports of Rijeka and Koper was acquired by SpartaMatrix. The project officially known as 'MLC Croatia' had SpartaMatrix procure a 55% majority interest from M+W Zander of Stuttgart. The principals of MLC also selected this US Company to take over as the lead developer of their project which is one of the largest logistics Greenfield developments in Europe. SpartaMatrix which has in-house infrastructure project expertise has distinguished itself in the UAE, Australia, Singapore, and SE Asia.


The Company will implement for MLC its accredited engineering technology suite of proprietary products (Globally Compliant Operating System, now known as in the industry as "GCOS" which was coined by SpartaMatrix in 2003) which focuses on reducing and measuring carbon emissions while efficiently controlling, tracking and managing 'in real-time' shipping containers. The accredited GCOS additionally secures satellite interlinked networks of ports and global supply chains which are set to join in with the European gateway operations of MLC which specializes on handling 'Food and Fuel'.

Since March 2009 SpartaMatrix and its 54 Strategic Alliance Partners have already been advising and providing energy efficient designs for eco-friendly facilities, including one of Europe's most advanced data centres, needed for supporting the customers of MLC's 'e-commerce advantaged', multi-modal bio-secure logistics systems. The Company has likewise provided consultations on construction of a commercially viable hybrid green energy system required to service the 157 hectare MLC project and the region with 125 MW of EU certified Green energy.
