Two Nepalis Are Planning To Paraglide From The Top Of Mount Everest
Online, May 9, 2011 (Newswire.com) - The tandem will attempt to set the world record praglading from the summit of the mighty Everest. Sanubabu Sunuwar and Lakpa Tshering Sherpa, both born in the SoluKhumu region of Nepal, will thereafter kayak across the Koshi River and then cycle to sea level. Both adventurers are currently at the base camp of Mount Everest and preparing their summit bid. The glide was specifically designed to be light as it has to be carried to the top of the mountain. At this altitude, any extra charges slow down the mountaineers and can ruin their chances.
