Troops to Firefighters Receives Motorola Solutions Foundation Public Safety Grant
Motorola Solutions Foundation Grant will help veterans and transitioning troops to secure jobs
Atlanta, GA, August 30, 2016 (Newswire.com) - Troops To Firefighters, an organization that helps veterans and transitioning troops secure jobs as firefighters and 9-1-1 Emergency Telecommunicators, today announced it has received $15,000 as part of the Motorola Solutions Foundation’s public safety grant awards. The grant will make it possible for Troops To Firefighters to deliver one or more 9-1-1 Telecommunicator courses, benefiting at least 25 course attendees.

The foundation gave $3.45 million to 83 organizations in 2016, which will benefit about 1 million first responders and community members.
