LOUISVILLE, Ky., June 6, 2019 (Newswire.com) - Trilogy Health Services, a provider of senior living services in over 100 communities across Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan, has long been known for its position at the forefront of healthcare technology. In keeping with its commitment to clinical excellence, the provider is pleased to announce a partnership with Avera eCARE, an interactive, secure telehealth provider. This partnership makes Trilogy the first senior living provider within its service area to offer this service, extending immediate access to a geriatrician-led team of specialists.
Avera eCARE connects Trilogy staff and residents to eCARE’s Senior Care team, which includes board-certified geriatricians, geriatric-trained pharmacists, a nurse practitioner of psychiatry, a licensed social worker, certified nurse practitioners, and registered nurses board-certified in gerontological nursing. The benefits of having 24/7 access to a geriatric-trained team are many, and include:
- Fewer transfers: Residents can receive the care they need close to home.
- Help with managing multiple chronic conditions.
- Support for advance care planning needs.
- Reduced unnecessary emergency room visits and hospitalizations.
- Earlier treatment for acute conditions.
“Maintaining the health and well-being of our residents is our number one priority,” commented Randall Bufford, President and CEO of Trilogy Health Services. “We take great pride in employing a clinical staff that can provide a wide range of support within our communities. Our partnership with Avera eCARE will allow us to further widen the scope of clinical services we can offer onsite, thus lowering the likelihood of a trip to the hospital or the emergency room.”
“Trilogy is a top-quality provider of senior living services, and Avera eCARE is thrilled to partner with them in the delivery of cutting-edge care to their residents. We look forward to fostering new relationships with local teams via telemedicine as we support the health care needs they encounter on a day-to-day basis. This is the future of health care, today, and we’re excited to be a part of it,” said Deanna Larson, Avera eCARE CEO.
Trilogy will be piloting Avera eCARE in June at Harrison’s Crossing Health Campus in Terre Haute, Indiana, Mill Pond Health Campus in Greencastle, Indiana, The Springs at Richmond in Richmond, Indiana, Novi Lakes Health Campus in Novi, Michigan, Orchard Grove Health Campus in Romeo, Michigan, and Stonegate Health Campus in Lapeer, Michigan.
