Trilogy Health Services Celebrates Opening of Paddock Springs

Residents of Lakeland Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center Find a New Home in State-of-the-Art Building

Since its opening in 2003, Lakeland Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center has been slowly filling with the moments, memories, and milestones of those who live and work at the campus. After 15 years of serving seniors of Kosciusko County at 505 W 4th Street in Milford, IN it was decided by the senior care provider to build a new campus, one that would allow it to expand its senior health and hospitality services to even more area seniors and their families. Paddock Springs, Lakeland’s replacement community, is located just 15 minutes away at 2695 Shelden Street in Warsaw, IN.

Built on Trilogy Health Services’ Village Center prototype, Paddock Springs is sure to exceed the expectations of residents and their families. A central dining room serves as the heart of the campus, and is filled with natural light from a windowed pergola above. From here, residents need only take a few steps in any direction to have access to rooms designed with their needs and interests in mind, from private dining rooms and cozy cafés, to numerous courtyards (including a specialized therapy courtyard and a putting green), a beauty salon equipped with everything they need for an afternoon of pampering, and even an ice cream parlor stocked with their favorite flavors.

The campus will also offer activities designed to inspire, educate, and enrich the lives of those it serves. Visitors to Paddock Springs may find residents tapping into their inner artist or chef, staying limber through specialized exercise programming, or enjoying hand crafted appetizers to the tune of live music during Paddock Springs’ Happy Hour. Frequent outings to local attractions are also planned and promoted.

In addition to new and improved surroundings and amenities, Paddock Springs will offer an expanded selection of senior living services. The community will provide a full continuum of care, including assisted living, long-term care, skilled nursing services, respite care and adult day services, as well as short-term rehabilitation and outpatient therapy in its state-of-the-art therapy gym. Paddock Springs will also offer specialized memory care services in its Legacy Lane. Here, private suites, individualized programs, and the most advanced features provide comfort, dignity and joy to every person who walks through the campus doors. Serving those with memory loss is both the purpose and the passion of each highly trained caregiver on the Legacy Lane, and activities are created with each resident’s individual needs and personal history in mind.

Paddock Springs’ 101 beds include an abundance of private suites, many with courtyard views. Suites come tastefully furnished, but residents may also choose to bring furniture from home and decorate their suites as they wish. Rooms at Paddock Springs are organized into neighborhoods with short, convenient hallways, allowing for residents to get to know one another, as well as establish relationships with their caregivers. This approach to campus organization ensures that everyone who lives and visits the campus feels comfortable, secure, and most importantly, at home.

According to Randall Bufford, President and CEO of Trilogy, “We are excited to expand our senior health and hospitality offerings in Warsaw in this beautiful new building. Each Trilogy campus is built for a single purpose – to provide compassionate customer service, the very best in clinical services and an exceptional quality of life experience to the communities we serve. We provide care options for all levels of healthcare, and the needs and preferences of our residents are our top priority. Simply put, we believe that our campus is their home, and they are our family. That is the Trilogy Difference. We hope you’ll feel it the moment you walk through our doors, and trust you’ll see it everywhere you look. We are proud to offer our residents of Lakeland Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center the opportunity to continue enjoying our five-star amenities and compassionate care in a brand new home. We also look forward to making new friends and forging meaningful connections with Kosciusko County seniors who move into our campus.”

Community members and members of the press are invited to Paddock Springs’ VIP Open House event on Thursday, Jan. 24 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Visitors will be able to enjoy handcrafted appetizers, take campus tours, and listen to remarks from campus leadership.
